Davenport Landing
- Accessible Restrooms
- Accessible Parking
- Beach Wheelchair
If you blink you might miss the tiny town of Davenport, a favored dining stop with vacationers traveling from the Bay Area to the Monterey Bay. Davenport Landing is a small sandy pocket beach just north of town, favored by local residents for surfing, windsurfing, and kite flying. It tends to be less crowded than other Santa Cruz County beaches. A wheelchair ramp leads onto the beach from the parking area, and with a beach wheelchair you can explore low-lying tidepools at the north end. It’s a good place to enjoy an evening picnic while watching the sunset.
