This 845-acre park features two redwood groves–some trees stand more than 300-feet tall– on the flats along the Navarro River. Located about 8 miles northwest of Boonville in the Anderson Vally, it tends to be warmer and less foggy than other redwood parks along the coast.
If you're traveling to Mendocino along Hwy 128, it's a good place to stop for a walk amongst the giant redwoods on the wheelchair accessible, All Access Trail. There's accessible campsites, a day-use area with picnic tables and grills, a tiny visitor center, and a primitive accessible cabin (Puma Cabin) at Wildcat Campground.
