This full-service urban campground, with close proximity to Fremont, Newark and the Dumbarton Bridge, consists of 63 family campsites, a camp store, showers, a playground, picnic sites and access to trails in adjacent Coyote Hills Regional Park. Year-round reservations are available for tent-camping, walk-in and bike camping, and RV's. Sixty sites are paved and have hookups for water, sewage, and electricity (50 amp); three sites are water only and unpaved. As this is a new facility (opened 2021) accessibility is good throughout.
Several picnic areas with bbq's are available to the public and hikers are permitted in all areas of the park.

The designated accessible campsites (1,2,3,4) are clustered closest to all of the amenities: amphitheater, shower/restroom, and camp store. With few mature trees campsites are very exposed and it can be windy due to the campground's proximity to the bay. Two vehicles are allowed with a maximum of 8 campers. - Bed:
