This small roadside campsite is at the beach however, there is no view of it and no wheelchair access to the beach. To reach the beach you need to drive .5 mile north to the North Beach Parking lot. Here you will find an access mat that leads to the high tide line. Two of the 13 campsites are ADA accessible (#2 and #3). First-come/first-serve, three-night maximum. Amenities include a level, paved area with a raised grill, and accessible picnic table. No showers.

The trailhead for the Hammond Trail is nearby. To reach it from the campground, you can roll on the lightly traveled Clam Beach Rd. a few hundred feet to the adjacent undeveloped parking lot.
